V.F. McNeil Insurance is pleased to announce the promotion of Salvatore D’Angelo, AAI, CIC, to Vice President – Director of Personal Lines Services, recognizing his 12 years of dedicated service, leadership, and continued contributions to the agency’s growth.
Sal joined V.F. McNeil in 2014, bringing more than 15 years of business management experience from the food industry, including online food sales. Having attended Southern Connecticut State University with a focus in Business Administration, Sal applied his operational insight and client-first mindset to the insurance industry, earning both his AAI and CIC designations and becoming a trusted advisor to clients and colleagues alike.
Throughout his tenure, Sal has worked closely with a wide range of Connecticut-based clients—from small and mid-sized business owners to new homeowners, busy professionals, and high-value households—helping them protect what matters most. His firsthand understanding of the time, effort, and resources required to run a business informs his thoughtful, detail-oriented approach to risk management across both commercial and personal lines.
Serving Clients Across Personal and Commercial Insurance
In addition to his client-facing work, Sal has played an increasingly important role in the agency’s operational evolution. In his new role, he will focus on streamlining operational oversight, strengthening internal workflows, and supporting the continued growth and progression of the agency, while remaining actively engaged in new business production on both personal and commercial lines insurance.
Sal is also an active leader in the local business community, having served in two key leadership roles within The Sound BNI networking group. His collaborative leadership style and commitment to relationship-building have strengthened both client relationships and professional partnerships throughout his career.
