Cynthia, or Cyndi as her friends and family call her, joined the V.F. McNeil Insurance team on March 23, 2026 as a full-time Personal Lines Account Manager. She brings with her a strong background on the captive insurance side of the industry, where she played a role in helping her agency achieve a top 10 ranking in Connecticut for life insurance.
Cyndi’s experience spans both personal and commercial lines, with a well-rounded background in sales and account management. She is excited to continue growing her skillset and, through the independent agency channel, expand the range of options she can offer her clients. As an intermediate French speaker, she has also enjoyed supporting French-speaking clients and looks forward to building those connections here at V.F. McNeil.
She holds a Bachelor of Science in Recreation and Leisure Studies from Southern Connecticut State University. Cyndi began her career in healthcare, where her natural desire to help others first took shape. That experience—combined with her strong foundation in communication, relationship-building, and compliance—has translated seamlessly into her success in the property and casualty insurance world.
Cyndi lives by a simple but meaningful mantra: “Treat people the way you would want to be treated.” It’s a philosophy that aligns perfectly with the V.F. McNeil Insurance mission and is reflected in the way she cares for her clients and colleagues alike.
Outside of the office, Cyndi is a self-proclaimed homebody who enjoys spending time with family and friends—whether that’s hosting bonfires, game nights, or settling in for a good show. She’s also a devoted fan of New Kids on the Block, having traveled to Las Vegas for their residency, attended two cruises, and made it to just about every local show (including Fenway Park). It’s safe to say she’s earned her “#1 fan” status!
Cyndi is also deeply committed to giving back. After the loss of her daughter in 2018 due to complications from leukemia, she and her family have dedicated their time to supporting several meaningful organizations, including Make-A-Wish Connecticut, Charlotte’s Web of Prayer, and Seymour Pink. Each year, they participate in the Seymour Pink race with their team, Two Tough Warriors, in honor of her daughter Ellie and her friend’s daughter Tea, a survivor who fought alongside her.
In addition, Cyndi hosts an annual Alex’s Lemonade Stand fundraiser at her home—raising over $6,000 since 2017 to support childhood cancer research. Her strength, compassion, and commitment to helping others shine through in every aspect of her life.
