Carmine Montuori

Carmine began his insurance career at Connecticut Associates Insurance, quickly earning his Connecticut Property and Casualty Insurance License and serving as an Account Manager for six years. Seeking to expand his knowledge and career potential, Carmine joined V.F. McNeil in 1997 as an Account Manager and earned his designation as a Certified Insurance Counselor in 2002. Furthering his expertise, he acquired his Life and Health Insurance License in 2009.

In January 2014, Carmine’s dedication and skills were recognized with a promotion to Vice President. His professional excellence was further acknowledged in 2016 when he was nominated as one of New Haven’s Finest professionals. In 2017, Carmine’s exceptional client satisfaction earned him the statewide recognition as a Five Star Insurance Professional, a testament to the strong and enduring relationships he builds with his clients.

Carmine excels in developing customized insurance policies for privately owned businesses in Connecticut, including manufacturers, cultural institutions, bioscience and life science companies, commercial property managers, large artisan contractors, paving and excavating contractors, and professional offices. He also caters to high-net-worth individuals in Connecticut, providing personalized insurance solutions and close agent-client relationships.

Known in the office as the “giant insurance brain,” Carmine is the go-to team member for complex insurance matters. His humor and wit keep the office atmosphere lively and engaging. Born in Piedmont, Italy, Carmine speaks fluent Italian, adding a unique dimension to his professional and personal interactions.

Outside of work, Carmine enjoys golfing, watching comedies, and spending quality time with his wife and daughter. He lives by the motto, “Wherever I am, I shall be well content.” One of his favorite memories is taking his daughter to Disney World, and he is an avid user of the Eight Sleep app. Carmine also has a deep appreciation for literature, with “Of Mice and Men” being one of his favorite books.
