Salvatore D'Angelo, AAI
Account Executive
Book AppointmentHaving majored in Business Administration at Southern Connecticut University, Sal came to V.F. McNeil with over 15 years of business management experience within the food industry and online food sales for Libby’s of New Haven. Sal enjoyed the fast-paced environment and his personal interaction with people.
He joined V.F. McNeil in 2014 and brought the benefit of his background in business to the agency and its clients. His business management background coupled with his AAI insurance designation and insurance experience, make him a very valuable advisor to his clients.
With a strong understanding of how much time, money, and effort it takes to run a business, Sal takes the job of protecting his client’s assets very seriously. He strives to leave no stone unturned when it comes to serving their insurance protection needs. As an insurance agent, Sal's experience focuses on small-to-mid-size private business owners in Connecticut, new home owners who need education and guidance with protecting their new investment, and high-value homeowners who need an experienced and trusted advisor to be sure their unique lifestyle is properly protected.
When Sal isn’t working on protecting his clients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and two children. As an avid baseball fan, it’s natural that he coaches baseball for his son’s Little League team and lives by the quote, “You miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.” Independently, he indulges a bit in Netflix, looking for a good Sci-fi or even a re-run of GOT. His favorite book was The Davinci Code and when it comes to getting out of town, he and the family enjoy a little Disney indulgence.
“I was referred to V.F. McNeil by my Mortgage Broker, and I’m glad I took their recommendation. Sal is a great insurance agent. Very friendly & knowledgeable. Shopped us around and saved hundreds compared to big name brand even after years of loyalty. Helped on a number of occasions. He’ll continue to receive my referrals in the future.”
