The Branford, Connecticut-based independent insurance agency is excited to announce it has welcomed four new professionals to its Account Management team.

Serving the insurance needs of both business owners and residents of Connecticut, the 137-year-old local insurance agency has engaged in recruitment and staff development efforts since the start of the year to help serve its growing client base.

During a time when finding new employees has been challenging for many business owners, V.F. McNeil Insurance hasn’t been any exception. Committed to delivering on the company Mission and Vision, long-time staff members of V.F. McNeil, played a crucial role in helping to find and train new talent.

These efforts, combined with the agency’s insurance industry specific hiring assessments, a customer-first mindset, and a focus on technological capabilities, V.F. McNeil has proudly hired new insurance professionals for both its commercial insurance and its personal insurance department.

Fast forward to onboarding, and the agency’s new, formal, in-house product and services training was a worthy investment. The new agency development platform has provided an efficient and much more modernized way of hiring and training new and existing employees for the changing generation of insurance professionals.    

Additionally, existing staff members continue to work with new staff members on a shared, mentoring basis that not only helps to get each new hire up to speed, but also helps to strengthen the team’s internal collaborative relationships.
