The East Haven Chamber honors V.F. McNeil Insurance with “Business of the Year Award for 2016.”

Branford, CT – May 19, 2016 – Annually, the East Haven Chamber of Commerce honors those who have contributed to the local community and also those who are blazing new trails in the local community.  For over30 years, the chamber and its community leaders have come together in recognition of the talents and achievements of outstanding companies and individuals who have succeeded at business, education,  and setting a good example of community support and development.

This year on May 17, 2016 the East Haven Chamber of Commerce announced V.F. McNeil Insurance as the winner of the “2016 Business of the Year Award” during an awards ceremony held at The Country House Restaurant.  V.F. McNeil was selected for its ongoing commitment to its clients and its community during its 130 years of service.

Carmine Montuori, V.F. McNeil’s Vice President and key member of the East Haven Chamber Board of Directors accepted the award on behalf of the entire team at V.F. McNeil.  “This award is a great honor that we’re extremely proud to accept, especially since it comes to us during a time that marks a huge milestone for V.F. McNeil.  As we celebrate our 130th Anniversary, this night will be a very special memory to add to so many other memories we have,” said Montuori in his acceptance speech.   

Recognition also went to Improve My Home CT, New Chamber Business of the Year; Bill Richardson, Community Service Award; Sarah, Inc., Non Profit of the Year; Cheryl Panzo, Educator of the Year; Sarah Harkins, Student of the Year; and Big Prints, Best Business After Hours.  It was a truly uplifting evening for everyone involved.
