Julie Gribbins
Executive AssistantWith over six years of administrative and bookkeeping experience, Julie came to V.F. McNeil Insurance in February 2009. She graduated from the University of Connecticut with a major in English and a minor in Anthropology. She also works as a freelance writer and a columnist for both the Shore Publishing newspapers and the website, shorelineoutandabout.com.
In addition to her administrative and financial experience, Julie has also worked as a book editor. Her editorial experience has been a major asset to our marketing department. Her assistance with printed materials and online content has been paramount.
Julie was born and raised in New Jersey and moved to Connecticut when she was eighteen. As a graduate from UConn, she admits that she isn’t the best Husky fan, but is tremendously proud of the UConn women’s basketball team and their National Championship win. She lives on the shoreline, enjoys spending time with family and friends, and loves to share her experiences with others through her columns. In her opinion, absurdity is truly the spice of life.
